Bubs Golf LLC ("Bubs", "we", "us") provides software to golf and country clubs and to their members, guests and staff. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Contact details you or your club give us: name, email address, phone number and mailing address. Account and membership information your club manages in Bubs, such as membership status, tee times, reservations, orders, scores and handicap information. Payment information: card payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, and we do not store full card numbers. Device and usage information, such as app version, device type, crash reports, and approximate location when you allow location access in our apps.
How we use information
To provide and operate the service for your club, including sign-in, bookings, billing, ordering and scoring; to send account, security and service messages by email, SMS and push notification; to maintain, secure and improve the service; and to comply with legal obligations.
SMS messaging
We send text messages for sign-in verification codes and for account and service notifications you or your club request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with your club, with service providers that help us run the service (for example hosting, payment processing, messaging, email and error monitoring), when you direct us to, or when required by law.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your club uses Bubs and as needed to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting your club or emailing us. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP, and turn off push notifications in your device settings.
Children
Bubs is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
